Welcome to Yvestown, Yvestown is a modern, town layout planned for 'N' Gauge using Peco Settrack. The town contains a three platform station and an avoiding line for passing freight. There will also be a small preserved line which will operate in the back of the layout behind the town and will operate a shuttle service between two stations (currently not shown on trackplan). Why Yvestown?Yvestown is not intended to be a model railway with a town built around it, but more of a fictional town with a railway that runs through it. The name is derived from the name of my daughter Yvonne - its Yve's town - and so Yvestown it is. |

TRACKPLAN INCLUDED. LASTEST STOCK NEWS. The main board is now suspended from the ceiling to the relief of the whiff (Thanks Darren cos I knew I wouldn't be able to do it on my own ) so I can crack on with this now the dark nights are drawing in. The dimensions of the main board are approx 90cmx180cm (3ftx6ft) but I have designed the trackwork to fit into 80cmx170cm to save me any trouble. |

Well, I have had some spare time this week so, instead of tackling the still blank baseboard, I have started on the depot board, its a lot smaller at 30cmx90cm (3ftx1ft) and isn't as overwhelming to start with. |

I've been playing with the website today, it now has a guestbook and a photo gallery is planned for the Rolling Stock page to display the stock I have. Please feel free to leave me a message on my guestbook to let me know what you think about the website and my layout (good or bad but if bad please be constructive and not just 'its crap'). If you have any suggestions please feel free to either leave them on the guestbook or use the Contact Us link to let me know :-) |

Well, its started! I have now got the baseboard complete. I had a little problem with the front section of the board where the freight avoiding line is at a lower level which was drooping down at the front and needed more support, which has now been fixed. The legs are a little on the long side at the moment but, other than that, it is complete and I am ready to lay track. |
