The main board is now suspended from the ceiling to the relief of the whiff (Thanks Darren cos I knew I wouldn't be able to do it on my own ) so I can crack on with this now the dark nights are drawing in. The dimensions of the main board are approx 90^cmx180^cm (3^ftx6^ft) but I have designed the trackwork to fit into 80^cmx170^cm to save me any trouble.

Well, I have had some spare time this week so, instead of tackling the still blank baseboard, I have started on the depot board, its a lot smaller at 30^cmx90^cm (3^ftx1^ft) and isn't as overwhelming to start with.

I've been playing with the website today, it now has a guestbook and a photo gallery is planned for the Rolling Stock page to display the stock I have.

Well, its started! I have now got the baseboard complete. I had a little problem with the front section of the board where the freight avoiding line is at a lower level which was drooping down at the front and needed more support, which has now been fixed. The legs are a little on the long side at the moment but, other than that, it is complete and I am ready to lay track.
