Yvestown Breakdown/Test Train PDF Print E-mail

The Yvestown Breakdown/Test Train is currently on the workbench ...

It is comprised of two converted Mk2's and a CCT Van painted into a distinctive yellow and black livery.

The livery has been created using Halfords 'Ford Signal Yellow' for the bodysides and Matt Black for the roof. It is intended that I will apply a black 'wasp stripe' to the sides of the coaches and CCT but this is dependent on time and funds being available in the future.

The Mk2's were previously Virgin Trains TSO's but they have been repainted with the windows 'plated over' and the gangway removed at one end.

The CCT was previously DAPOL NB016 - S22795 in Southern Railways Green. It has been repainted into the above livery as seen below.

I have also added the Dapol Shirebrook Breakdown Stowage Van to the rake as well.
